Terms & Conditions

  • You (‘the hirer’) must maintain the appropriate certification, qualifications, and up to date liability insurance.  Copies of these must be provided to be kept on file.
  • You should conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times whilst using the yoga studios/therapy rooms and the communal spaces.
  • The yoga studios / therapy rooms must only be used during the hours that have been agreed and pre-booked.
  • Please vacate the yoga studios/therapy rooms as quickly as you possibly can after your session has finished.  We will always leave 15 minute intervals between sessions, but please be mindful of any other hirers and their sessions.
  • Your own belongings are your responsibility when you are within the building. We will accept no responsibility for personal or professional items left on the premises.
  • You are responsible for the yoga studio/therapy room and its contents during your sessions.  Any damage that occurs during this time must be brought to our attention.
  • The yoga studios/therapy rooms must be left in a safe and tidy condition so that other hirers can use them after you.
  • It is forbidden to sublet the yoga studios/therapy rooms or use them for any other purpose than what has been agreed.
  • There is a 24 hour cancellation policy for all bookings.  You will be required to pay in full unless we receive an email 24 hours before, stating cancellation.  If we can fill the space, there will be no charge.  If using the therapy rooms, we recommend that you agree similar terms with your clients.
  • Inform us if another teacher will be covering your class due to illness/inability to attend.  Anyone that teaches with the Ministry of Yoga & Well-Being must be known by us with all their documentation on file.
  • Invoices will be issued at the beginning of the month and will be payable by the end of the month.

Health and Safety

  • You are responsible for ensuring your session is run in line with current health and safety legislation and best practice guidelines.
  • The first aid kit and accident book is kept at reception.  Should a participant in your session sustain an injury, please notify reception.
  • It is the responsibility of MoY Rentals (‘the rentors’) to make all hirers aware of the fire evacuation procedures (found here) and the responsibility of all hirers to make sure class participants are briefed on course of action in case of fire.
  • Hirers need to have their own insurance to cover any situation involving loss or injury to a member of the public as a result of their own activities.
  • If a session involves participants who are under the age of 18 or classed as vulnerable adults the hirer is responsible for ensuring that the relevant DBS checks have been obtained.
